Retaliator se formó en el verano de 1996 y se disolvió en la navidad del 2008. Durante estos 12 años hemos lanzado una serie de albumes, split, singles y pistas para distintos recopilatorios, y hemos tocado en 9 paises de Europa. Esta banda siempre se mantuvo apolitica, a pesar  de muchas mentiras y rumores creados por guerreros anonimos de la internet. Los miembros de la banda eran cinco personas cada uno con sus propios puntos de vista. La única cosa que todos estamos de acuerdo en un odio de lo políticamente correcto. Es así de simple. Nunca estuvimos interesados en bajar el tono de nuestra imagen o letras para tocar en grandes escenarios o ganar nuevos fans. La banda se reformó en enero del 2011 para grabar un nuevo album, fue la misma formacion que grabo el tan aclamado "Patriotic Alcoholics". La formacion es la siguiente: Ian (Voz), Pete (Bajo), Baysey (Guitarra) y Mark (Bateria).
