One Way System es una banda de Street Punk formada en Fleetwood Lancashire, Inglaterra, en 1979.

tenía una alineación inicial con Craig Halliday (Guitarra), Gavin Whyte (Voz), Tez Mcdonald (Batería) y Gaz Buckley (Bajo).

El Demo de la cancion "Jerusalem" aparecio en el recopilatorio "A Country Fit For Heroes", Esta cancion alcanzo el 4° puesto en las listas del Reyno Unido.

Poco despues de este golpe, hubo algunos cambios en la banda quedando con la siguiente formacion: Gavin Whyte en la voz, David Ross guitarra, en el bajo Gaz Buckley  y Tom Couch en la batería, este ultimo considerado el mejor baterista dentro dentro del punk.

Entre 1982 y 1984 ya con 5 singles en su haber hicieron a la banda aun mas reconocida, llevandolos por primera vez a norteamerica, donde tocaron con Circle Jerks y en otra ocacion con los Suicidal Tendencies.

El ano pasado salieron unos videos en youtube de temas totalmente nuevos, los cuales corria el rumor de un nuevo disco titulado "Car Bombs In Babylon" del cual hasta la fecha no se sabe nada.
